Organizers of VAPESHOW Amsterdam, which will take place on July 29-30, are diligently preparing the greatest e-cig event for the whole vape community of the Netherlands. The highly topical programme will include exhibition and business conference for those who see vaping as entrepreneurial activity. Let introduce you one of the most significant speakers of the conference – Gregory Conley.
All vape communities all over the world know him as the President of the American Vaping Association (AVA), a nonprofit organization that champions vapor products and electronic cigarettes as a way to help smokers quit. In addition to his work with the AVA, Conley is an attorney and a consultant on vaping legislative and regulatory issues. From 2014 to 2015, Conley served as a research fellow on nicotine and tobacco issues for the libertarian think tank the Heartland Institute.
Conley's introduction to the world of vaping came when he quit smoking with a vapor product while in law school in 2010. From there, he served for approximately three years as the pro bono legislative director for the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association, the world's largest organization representing consumers of vapor products.
Within the conference, he will report on the topic: Lessons to be learned from the United States' war on vaping
Gregory will outline the politics of harm reduction and vaping, including what forces have tried to destroy vaping and what failures and successes vape advocates have seen in fighting back.
